Drone filming in Istanbul and Turkey
Aerial filming that shows the scale of a place in a single frame. From power plants to factories, construction sites to campuses.
The most effective way to show scale
Drone filming is aerial imaging with unmanned aircraft; it delivers wide angles, height and perspective that ground-level filming can't.
Aerial footage conveys the size and layout of a place in a way ground-level footage cannot. Showing a large area in a single shot is a strong advantage in both time and storytelling.
I don't plan drone footage on its own but as part of the film's narrative: the opening shot, transitions and the closing shot that reveals the scale of the facility are designed together with ground footage and the edit.
What I produce
The four kinds of project where aerial filming is used most.

Power plants
Promotional films for large sites such as floating solar plants, wind farms and thermal power plants.
Watch Turkey's first floating solar power plant
Production facilities
Corporate films that show the size, layout and logistics connections of factories and plants.

Construction and installation sites
Aerial footage captured at regular intervals to document a project's progress over time, combined with timelapse.
Timelapse production
Campuses and large venues
Opening and transition shots that explain the overall layout and scale.

Process
Every project goes through the same four steps, with one point of contact from brief to delivery.
Site survey and permits
The filming area, flight restrictions and required permits are identified; coordination with facility management and the site team is set up.
Flight plan
Shots that serve the story, the light and the weather are turned into a shooting schedule.
Filming
Aerial shots are captured together with ground footage, according to the film's narrative.
Edit and color
Footage is edited, color graded and delivered for each platform.

FAQ
What is drone filming?
Aerial imaging with unmanned aircraft, offering wide angles and perspectives that ground-level filming can't achieve.
Which industries use drone filming?
It is widely used for large-scale sites such as power plants, production facilities, construction sites and large campuses.
What needs to be considered for a drone shoot?
Weather, filming permits and site safety need to be planned in advance. At energy and industrial sites in particular, obtaining permits from the relevant authorities and coordinating with the site team keeps the process smooth.
Can drone and timelapse be combined?
Yes. The progress of a construction or installation can be documented with drone footage at regular intervals and turned into a timelapse.
